Senior Business Technology Analyst

Role summary

Duties and responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate operational needs into system solutions.
• Support system and process design, evaluate solutions, validate designs, and identify improvements.
• Lead assigned technology initiatives through planning, implementation, and adoption, managing stakeholders, risks, dependencies, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate system configuration, integrations, data readiness, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Perform functional QA of system changes before business testing.
• Support change management, training, communications, and user adoption.
• Prioritize enhancement requests based on business needs, impact, dependencies, and roadmaps.
• Administer, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve assigned business applications.
• Maintain documentation, process maps, training materials, and user guides; guide and support end users.
• Support other applications and initiatives as organizational priorities evolve, aligned with governance and security requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum five years in a business analyst or similar role supporting business applications and SaaS platforms.
• Demonstrated project management experience managing timelines, risks, dependencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong business analysis skills in requirements gathering, process evaluation, and solution design.
• Experience supporting technology initiatives through design, testing or UAT, deployment, change management, and post-go-live support.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, documentation, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, service-oriented, adaptable to changing requirements, and able to work independently and with a team.

Assets

• FSM, EAM/CMMS, workforce scheduling and dispatch, maintenance/work orders, inventory and procurement, logistics, field ticketing, timekeeping, or payroll systems experience is an asset.
• Enterprise SaaS vendor and integrated business application experience is an asset.
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification is an asset.
• Process-mapping tool proficiency is an asset.
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent industry experience is an asset.
