The role supports a greenfield ETRM transformation at a global commodities trading firm, focused on physical metals workflows.

The analyst will help shape a strategic platform build, redesign metals workflows, and explore AI and automation opportunities.

Work with trading, operations, middle office, and technology teams to define business requirements.
Own functional analysis across trade capture, pricing, warrants, inventory, and settlements in the physical metals lifecycle.
Support LME pricing, physical premiums, location differentials, and provisional/final pricing design.
Contribute to MTM, P&L, inventory financing, and repo workflow design.
Identify AI agent and automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and operational risk.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support testing, implementation, and optimization.

Requires strong hands-on experience with physical metals trading workflows.
Requires a strong understanding of LME pricing structures, warrants, inventory management, and physical settlements.
Requires experience with physical inventory valuation, MTM, and P&L attribution.
Requires experience with an E/CTRM platform; experience with any ETRM or CTRM system is relevant.
Requires experience gathering requirements and delivering functional solutions across business and technology teams.
