Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid arrangement with three office days and one remote day; the office schedule may change.
• The role is based in Downtown Toronto.

Schedule

• Standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours per week.
• Overtime is not currently expected but may be required based on project demand.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate requirements walkthroughs with business and technology stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology teams on solution design and API integration requirements.
• Apply equities and bonds business knowledge to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support roadmaps, timelines, milestones, risk tracking, issue resolution, and dependency management.
• Maintain user stories, process flows, requirements documents, and other key documentation.
• Liaise between business, technology, and delivery teams.
• Support and coordinate testing activities.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of business analysis experience within financial services.
• Experience with system integrations and APIs, including translating complex business needs into actionable requirements.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Experience delivering complex projects, preferably in capital markets, bonds, equities, or trading.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to equities and bonds trading, brokerage, or digital platforms is preferred.
• Exposure to fractional share initiatives is considered an asset.
• Hands-on experience supporting or coordinating UAT and QA activities is considered an asset.
