Role overview

The role combines technical business analysis with Scrum team facilitation to help deliver high-quality products.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, Scrum mastery, or a related field.
  • CSM certification or equivalent is a plus.

Business analysis

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify solutions.
  • Analyze data and processes to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain business cases, user stories, and requirements documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and develop contingency plans.

Scrum Master duties

  • Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach team members on Scrum principles, practices, and values; remove impediments to team progress.
  • Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and transparency.

Tools and capabilities

  • Experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps; basic understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt, prioritize, lead, and coach in a fast-paced environment.
