Role Description
The Senior BMS Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for leading the sales and technical promotion of Building Management Systems (BMS) and related solutions.
This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of projects, and driving the full sales cycle from lead generation and technical proposal development to contract negotiation and closure.
The Senior BMS Sales Engineer will prepare and present technical and commercial offers, conduct site visits, perform needs assessments, and collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate system design and cost estimates.
Daily activities include meeting with clients, consultants, and contractors; delivering product demonstrations; providing pre-sales technical support; and following up on bids and tenders to secure orders.
The role also includes monitoring market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and support long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and BMS expertise, including solution design, system integration understanding, and ability to translate technical requirements into competitive proposals.
- Proficiency in Sales, opportunity management, and pipeline development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in building automation or related fields.
- Experience in Technical Support and pre-sales engineering, including site surveys, technical clarifications, and coordination with design and project execution teams.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field; advanced certifications in BMS or building automation are an advantage.
- Solid understanding of HVAC controls, low-current systems, and integration with other building systems (e.g., fire alarm, security, energy management).
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design or estimation tools commonly used in BMS projects.
- Strong analytical, negotiation skills.
