What will you be doing?
- Take product initiatives, break them into executable chunks, and drive them to production independently.
- Make architectural and engineering design decisions that shape the platform's backend infrastructure.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and non-technical stakeholders on product ideation and direction.
- Build and improve AI-powered automation for payments, claims, and revenue workflows in senior care.
- Propose and implement improvements to tooling and processes as an early member of a small, high-impact engineering team.
What We're Looking For
- 6-12 years of professional software engineering experience, with a primary focus on backend development using Node.js.
- Hands-on proficiency with the tech stack: Node.js, Express, JavaScript, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- A self-starter mentality who thrives in a lean, high-ownership setting without layers of support.
- Strict attention to detail and care when handling sensitive payment, claims, and healthcare data.
Location and Work Authorization
- Location: Hybrid in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA (3 days in-office, flexible schedule).
- Work Authorization: U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or TN visa holders (Visa sponsorship available for TN visas).
Pay
- Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
