Overview
We are hiring for Senior Backend Engineer for one of our clients based out of UAE.
Contract
12 months & extendable
Required Technical Expertise
- **Must Have (8+ years)**
- Node.js and Express in production at enterprise scale
- PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimisation, indexing, replication. PostgreSQL 16 and pgvector experience strongly preferred
- REST and GraphQL API design — versioning, contract management, security
- Apache Airflow or equivalent DAG-based pipeline orchestration
- Docker and Kubernetes in self-hosted environments — VMware-based deployment is the target
- Experience with Air-gapped, FedNet-only, on-premise VMware, MDM-enforced enivronments
- Self-hosted GitLab CI/CD or equivalent
