Position Summary

Education

• A BE or B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
• An MCA in computer science or applications is listed as an education qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA microservice systems.
• Collaborate with product and architecture teams on scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
• Build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Design database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data consistency.
• Implement unit and integration tests and maintain high code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Deploy and monitor applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Improve product architecture, automation, and development processes.

Required Skills

• The role requires strong Core Java knowledge, including OOP, collections, streams, exception handling, and multithreading.
• The role requires deep Spring, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate experience.
• The role requires REST API, microservice design, MySQL or PostgreSQL, testing, AWS, Git, build tooling, CI/CD, and Agile experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Docker or other containerisation tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is preferred.
• Experience with SonarQube, JaCoCo, or similar code quality tools is preferred.
• Basic understanding of DevOps pipelines is preferred.
