Role Summary
Develop autonomous large mining truck models and features for harsh mining and construction production environments.
Collaborate with the team to select approaches, solve real-world problems, and bring solutions to production.
What You Will Do
- Develop production-quality C++ software.
- Participate in design, documentation, coding, product quality, and validation.
- Support requirements generation and architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
- Support functional safety software design and validation.
- Collaborate with team members to execute goals.
What You Will Have
- Apply problem-solving approaches and optimize development strategies using a large repository of data.
- Use structured software development life cycle methods for new or enhanced software products.
- Test, write, design, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain source code and computer programs.
Top Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in robotics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- C++ programming skill.
- Familiarity with core robotics principles.
- Strong foundation in mathematics and engineering fundamentals.
Workplace and Travel
- Full-time on-site role at the Irving, Texas office, requiring onsite work five days per week.
- Domestic relocation assistance is available.
- Travel may be required up to 10%.
Compensation
- Summary pay range is $112,710.00 to $183,140.00.
- Compensation and benefits vary by factors including job level, market location, knowledge, skills, performance, and experience.
