Role overview

Leasing and planning

• Prepare and implement leasing plans to use current mall supply and identify future locations for retail outlets.
• Prepare target lists of prospective locations suitable for required outlet types.
• Prepare mall profiles and conduct due diligence on prospective locations.
• Negotiate and finalize lease terms in line with business guidelines, budgets, and other business conditions.

Legal and lease administration

• Ensure documentation is correctly prepared and signed by authorized stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of local legal procedures and ensure lease terms do not contradict them.
• Renew lease agreements on time and accurately record changes to terms, conditions, or rentals.
• Upload leasing contracts to government platforms.

Financial analysis and reporting

• Prepare progress reports on business status, market trends, prospects, and proposed measures to meet or exceed targets.
• Use historical performance and market information to project budgets for units and revenue.
• Review performance against budget, investigate shortfalls, and take corrective measures.

Marketing initiatives

• Undertake portfolio marketing initiatives, including a competition database and marketing strategy within budget; review and update initiatives as needed.

Role expectations

• Follow relevant division policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Carry out day-to-day activities with minimal supervision to ensure continuity of work.
• Maintain awareness of local legal procedures and practices relevant to lease terms.
