Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend application components using Java and related technologies.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, high-performing software solutions.
Requirements
- Experience developing microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, NPM, and React, including secure frontend code.
- Ability to implement user interfaces against REST APIs.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS or Azure.
- Experience building maintainable, extensible, and testable distributed systems.
- Ability to design low-latency applications for scalability, reliability, and high throughput.
- Expertise in open-source technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, and in containerization.
- Proficiency with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Understanding of modern and functional programming styles and source-control best practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve productivity and code quality.
Skills and capabilities
- Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
- Frontend development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or Angular.
- Full-stack development across user interfaces, backend services, and databases.
- Problem-solving, communication, analytical thinking, time management, and adaptability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to create intuitive user experiences.
- Implement and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient microservices architectures.
- Optimize performance and scalability for increasing user loads.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot issues and maintain application stability and reliability.
- Keep current with industry trends and technologies to improve systems.
