Role Purpose
To support and manage the collections function by ensuring timely recovery of receivables, maintaining strong customer relationships, and contributing to effective cash flow management and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage collection of outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status, disputes, and settlement plans
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and escalate high-risk accounts
- Support cash flow management through effective collection activities
- Perform reconciliation of customer accounts and ensure accuracy of balances
- Prepare reports on collection performance and aging analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues impacting collections
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within collections
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
- Strong experience handling customer accounts and resolving disputes
- Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Professional certification is an advantage
