Role Overview
T.CHOITHRAM AND SONS is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to oversee asset performance, lifecycle, utilization, risk, cost, and long-term value.
The role works with senior management, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and other stakeholders.

Asset Strategy and Lifecycle
- Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee acquisition, deployment, maintenance, utilization, optimization, and disposal across the asset lifecycle.
- Develop asset management plans, policies, procedures, standards, and performance frameworks.
Performance and Investment
- Monitor asset performance, utilization, condition, lifecycle costs, and return on investment.
- Conduct portfolio analysis, financial assessments, lifecycle costing, and investment evaluations.
- Support capital planning, asset replacement strategies, acquisition decisions, and long-term investment planning.
Risk, Controls, and Reporting
- Identify and manage asset-related operational, financial, compliance, and business continuity risks.
- Develop and monitor asset KPIs, dashboards, utilization metrics, and lifecycle indicators.
- Lead asset audits, reviews, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Develop management reports, investment proposals, business cases, and executive recommendations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounting on asset valuation, depreciation, reporting, and financial controls.
- Work with Procurement and Operations on acquisition, supplier performance, maintenance, and service contracts.
- Support preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, reliability improvement, and asset performance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in asset management, portfolio management, facilities management, infrastructure, investment management, or a related field.
- Experience managing complex asset portfolios, capital assets, equipment, infrastructure, property, or organizational resources.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, including lifecycle costing, ROI, budgeting, and investment analysis.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, governance, and internal controls.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with asset management systems, ERP platforms, CMMS, EAM, or related technologies is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Asset Management, Property Management, or a related field is preferred.
- CAMA, IAM Certificate, CFA, PMP, RICS, or another relevant asset management certification is advantageous.
