A consulting engineering team seeks a Senior Architect in Riyadh.
The role develops architectural designs and plans for residential villas, multi-story buildings, and commercial complexes, translating concepts into buildable designs and optimizing space.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural concepts from initial concept design through detailed design.
- Develop, review, and optimize plans, floor layouts, and space-planning solutions for functionality, efficiency, and project requirements.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, planning layouts, and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with the Saudi Building Code and applicable Riyadh regulations.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines for integrated designs.
- Maintain the quality, accuracy, and consistency of architectural design outputs.
- Provide practical, innovative solutions that meet client requirements and maximize space use.
- Review designs to improve layouts, functionality, and overall quality.
- Deliver design work within project timelines and approved specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and at least 7 years of architectural design and planning experience.
- Experience designing residential villas, multi-story buildings, and commercial developments.
- Strong architectural planning experience, including floor plans, space planning, functional layouts, and circulation planning.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and local building regulations in Riyadh.
- Ability to carry architectural projects from initial planning through detailed design.
- Experience coordinating architectural designs with structural and MEP requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create practical, efficient, buildable solutions.
Technical skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, SketchUp and 3ds Max, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Lumion and/or Enscape experience for architectural visualization.
- Hands-on BIM experience and strong 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization capabilities.
- Ability to develop and optimize architectural floor plans, layouts, and space-planning solutions.
