Senior Analyst – Workforce Planning

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings with colleagues at different levels, including Heads of Function.
• Analyse commercial and operational data, identify trends and make recommendations.
• Engage partner teams to understand business changes, customer needs and the economic landscape.
• Assess how changing requirements affect customer-facing teams.
• Track operational FTE and joiner, mover and leaver movements and their effects on cost, budget and service.
• Support recruitment and multiskilling decisions; identify process and service improvements.
• Own tasks through completion and develop skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in forecasting and capacity planning within a large organisation.
• Advanced Excel skills for report production, model building and data analysis.
• Strong numeracy, data literacy, analytical curiosity and problem-solving approach.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior audiences, verbally and in writing.
• Strong collaboration skills.

Useful experience

• Power BI and Power Query experience would be useful.
• Knowledge of Wealth and Investments business and products would be useful.

Salary

• The job description states a salary of £40,824 to £49,000 per annum, plus benefits; an earlier salary range in the posting states £40,824 to £45,360.

Hours

• Full-time hours.

Working pattern

• Hybrid working, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site.
