Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and assist in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve queries and support ad hoc requests.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX requirements.
• Coordinate interim audits and provide auditors with requested details and schedules.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, schedules, and management reports.
• Analyze monthly profit and loss and balance sheet items, highlighting significant variances and observations to management.
• Handle general ledger queries by email and phone from operating company, interdepartmental, agency, and regional teams.

Candidate requirements

• Semi-qualified CA with 3–4 years of experience, or a commerce graduate with 6+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and the record-to-report process.
• Mumbai-based candidates are preferred.

Schedule

• General shift starting at 11:00 a.m.; five days per week.

Workplace
