Run day-to-day operations for unlisted assets, including property, infrastructure, private equity, and liquid alternatives.
Work with internal Investment Managers, external fund managers, and the custodian across multiple concurrent deals.
Responsibilities
- Manage investments from onboarding through capital calls and distributions.
- Own the currency hedging program for unlisted assets and prepare and review instructions weekly.
- Maintain the unlisted investments register and resolve data quality issues promptly.
- Coordinate year-end valuations and support regulatory reporting, including RG97 and APRA requirements.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to uplift team operations.
Candidate requirements
- Experience built in a superannuation fund, custodian, or fund manager.
- Solid understanding of the unlisted asset lifecycle, including deal execution, funding, drawdowns, distributions, valuations, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of custody processes and superannuation structures.
- Exposure to investment activities of a superannuation fund.
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, or accounting.
- Take initiative, solve problems early, collaborate across teams, adapt to shifting priorities, and communicate confidently at all levels.
