Job Description
- The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting portfolio management activities, including:
- Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct macroeconomic and sector research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Portfolio Company Analysis: Assess business models, strategy, competitive positioning, and KPI performance; prepare regular performance updates
- Financial Modelling & Valuation: Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation and returns analysis, and support strategic decision-making
- Asset Management: Monitor portfolio performance, support operational initiatives, and contribute to value creation strategies
- Transaction Support: Assist in the execution of acquisitions, divestments, and capital structure initiatives, including financial analysis and documentation
- Reporting: Prepare internal reports, asset reviews, and investment committee materials
The Successful Applicant
- UAE National
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience within private equity, asset management, investment banking, or consulting
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with solid understanding of financial statements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional qualifications such as CFA or ACCA (preferred)
- Exposure to Big 4 or leading financial institutions is advantageous
