Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a Senior AML Consultant.
The Senior AML Consultant will oversee anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, conduct risk assessments, perform due diligence checks, monitor transactions for suspicious activities, and ensure adherence to sanctions policies and regulatory requirements.
The role includes collaborating with stakeholders across departments to strengthen financial crime prevention frameworks and to provide guidance on AML-related issues.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Due Diligence to evaluate and identify potential compliance risks
- Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Services relevant to AML practices
- Experience and expertise in Sanction compliance and mitigation strategies
- Sound understanding of global and regional AML regulations and best practices
- Solid ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; certifications such as CAMS or equivalent are a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Prior experience in the UAE financial sector is highly desirable
