Role Overview

Salary

• Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience.
• Company bonus of up to 21% of base salary.

Working Arrangement

• The role requires five days per week on site due to workload classification.

Security Clearance

• Successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks after offer stage.

The Opportunity

• Develop guidance and control expertise at detailed design and higher architectural levels.
• Influence design and testing direction for sophisticated missile guidance and control systems.
• Work across specialist algorithms, real-time architecture, seekers, sensors, actuators, propulsion, and launch-platform interfaces.
• Collaborate across organisational and national boundaries on multiple programmes.
• Contribute from research and concept stages through development and guided flight trials.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive aerospace guidance, control and navigation specification, analysis, algorithm design, implementation, real-time architecture, and verification experience.
• Ability to define engineering problems, manage complexity, and verify systems and models against theory.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and diagnose engineering-system abnormalities using Matlab and Simulink.
• Technical influence skills are required; applied flight-control experience is preferred.
