Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ad hoc and exploratory reports and support urgent account requests.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards and existing BI products; identify recurring work for standardization and escalate high-value opportunities.
• Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, standardized dashboards, and reports.
• Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for performance, security, and scalability.
• Define reporting requirements with business partners and build accurate data models.
• Visualize KPIs, trends, and opportunities; extract, transform, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Identify data quality gaps, improve processes, present insights to non-technical stakeholders, and automate reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with the Automations team on AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, copilots, and workflow automation.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; three to six years of BI or data development experience is stated.
• Advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX, semantic modeling, and performance optimization, and strong SQL development skills are required.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills and experience communicating data-driven solutions to technical and non-technical audiences are required.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise reporting and financial analytics solutions; food service or related industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with DBT or similar data transformation and modeling tools, warehousing concepts, schema design, and ETL/ELT practices is required.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub and familiarity with Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools are required.
• Familiarity with modern analytics platforms and cloud data environments, including Microsoft Fabric, is required; Azure SQL Managed Instance and/or Snowflake experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, efficient execution in a fast-paced environment, and cross-functional collaboration are required.
• Proficiency with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar AI platforms for analytics, automation, reporting, and decision-making is required.
