Role overview
Build an AI-enabled operations platform for restaurants and cafés.
Platform capabilities
- Forecast sales by outlet, day, and hour using historical sales and relevant demand patterns.
- Track stock using POS sales, recipes, deliveries, transfers, wastage, and manual stock counts.
- Flag shortages and differences between expected and counted stock with clear manager alerts.
- Recommend supplier orders using forecast demand, stock on hand, lead times, and pack sizes.
- Prepare and send supplier orders through approved integrations or supported methods, with manager approval before submission.
- Suggest staff rotas based on forecast busy periods and staffing requirements.
- Provide dashboards for sales, food cost, inventory, and outlet performance.
Required expertise
- Experienced software engineer with hands-on experience building forecasting and automation features.
- Delivered hospitality, POS, inventory, or similar operational software.
- Expertise in AI and demand forecasting, software architecture, database design, POS and supplier integrations, and practical restaurant stock and recipe management.
- Examples of live systems built are advantageous.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000 per month.
