Senior AI Product Engineer (React / Typescript)

What you will shape

• Build important front-end interfaces, particularly dense and difficult ones, and establish patterns for the wider team.
• Develop the production design system in code and provide a leading voice on its standards.
• Define and maintain the product's look, feel, consistency, and review standards.
• Work directly with investment professionals, family offices, and advisors to improve the client journey.
• Create dense financial interfaces with scalable tables, precise numbers, and resilient portfolio drill-downs.
• Define the standards and instructions that AI tools and agents work to.
• Review AI-generated output critically and refine rules when quality problems recur.

Must-have focus

• The core requirement is the ability to direct AI-assisted interface development to a consistent product standard.
• This work increasingly lives in the code repository, development tooling, and the capabilities available to AI agents.
• The role requires genuine UX judgment rather than simply tolerating design work.
• Relevant judgment includes flows, objects, relationships, states, hierarchy, typography, density, and restraint.

What the team is looking for

• 5+ years of front-end engineering experience, ideally with React and TypeScript, with libraries such as shadcn/ui.
• Experience building and maintaining a production design system.
• Experience with data-dense interfaces at scale, including virtualized tables, charting, and performance under load.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and the ability to specify standards for AI output.
• Willingness to work directly with users and own the experience rather than only implementation.
• Ability to review others' work, teach, and maintain a quality bar.
• Curiosity about finance; prior knowledge of concepts such as capital calls is not required.

Product and collaboration expectations

• Talk directly with clients, decide what not to build, and own outcomes rather than only tickets.
• Act as an editor and enabler by reviewing work, teaching others, and holding a quality line.
• Use shipped interfaces and the decisions behind them as evidence of experience; a portfolio is not required.

Interview process

• The process may include a portfolio or work conversation, a practical exercise based on a Sesame flow, and a working session with a product manager and engineer.
• Interview steps are adapted to the candidate and communicated in advance.
