Senior AI Engineer

Role Overview

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and productionize AI agents and workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications in Python and Java or GoLang.
• Write clean, efficient, documented code across development, QA, and release.
• Design data models and database schemas.
• Integrate backend services with user interfaces alongside the frontend team.
• Perform code reviews and maintain code-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production applications and AI-agent workflows.
• Work with DevOps to deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes.
• Stay current on AI and agentic technologies.

Who You Are

• Have 5+ years of backend or software development experience with hands-on exposure to AI or agentic systems.
• Python is mandatory.
• Be proficient in Java or GoLang.
• Have 2+ years of experience with LangGraph or similar agentic frameworks.
• Understand object-oriented programming principles.
• Have experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Know RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and the Agile SDLC.
• Have strong Git knowledge and experience with Jira and Confluence.
• AWS or other cloud-services experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent work, and teamwork skills.

Technology Stack

• Core technologies include Python, Java or GoLang, LangGraph, React, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Frontend familiarity includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Deployment work uses Kubernetes.

Compensation

• Expected annual base salary range is $140,000 to $180,000.
• The role is eligible for bonus and incentive compensation and an employee stock option program.
