About the role

Responsibilities

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, analytics, and strategies that improve statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases and data systems.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets.
• Clean data and review reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs and with Data Engineers to build data science infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and debug data defects for faster resolution.
• Deliver work on time and to a high standard.

Required experience and qualifications

• Master’s or B.Tech degree with a major in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Predictive Analytics, Economics, or Mathematics.
• At least 4 years of experience implementing AI/ML solutions.
• At least 2 years of experience in OpenCV, object detection, image processing, and classification.
• At least 2 years of experience with frameworks such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN, or computer vision models.
• Good understanding of AI/ML modeling techniques and implementation experience.
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, and NLP.
• Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns.
• Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimization.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to work well with a team.

Additional experience

• Exposure to image classification models, diffusion models, voice assistants, and chatbots is a plus.
