Gemini Enterprise and AI Engineering
- Design, configure, and implement enterprise AI capabilities using Google Gemini Enterprise.
- Develop AI agents, enterprise search experiences, and conversational workflows.
- Integrate Gemini Enterprise with business applications and enterprise data sources using connectors and secure access to structured and unstructured information.
- Configure grounding, retrieval, contextual data access, and integrations with enterprise identity providers and SSO.
- Develop AI-powered features and services using Google Cloud and Gemini APIs, including RAG solutions when required.
- Build backend services, APIs, and integration components that connect enterprise applications with AI capabilities.
- Implement agent-based workflows and tool integrations; develop reusable components and integration patterns.
- Evaluate native Gemini Enterprise capabilities against custom AI development approaches.
Cloud Data, Security, and Governance
- Integrate AI solutions with Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and IAM.
- Connect document repositories, databases, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
- Collaborate with data engineers on ingestion, synchronization, indexing, and access to enterprise data.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and access controls while respecting source-system permissions and data restrictions.
- Apply security and privacy controls for confidential and sensitive financial information.
- Implement logging, monitoring, auditability, and observability; contribute to AI governance, data protection, response quality, evaluation, and responsible AI usage.
Engineering Delivery
- Own assigned technical deliverables from design through production and contribute to architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
- Develop automated tests and validation strategies for AI-powered features.
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, relevance, grounding, and consistency; troubleshoot integration and production issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI development experience.
- Practical experience implementing or integrating Google Gemini Enterprise, formerly Google Agentspace.
- Strong Google Cloud Platform and enterprise cloud architecture experience; hands-on Gemini APIs and/or Vertex AI experience.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, grounding, prompt engineering, and agent-based architectures.
- Experience integrating AI with enterprise applications and data sources.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C# (.NET); experience with REST APIs and cloud-native backend services.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and enterprise SSO.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to investigate technical challenges independently, propose solutions, and deliver production-quality implementations.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agent2Agent (A2A), or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Experience with Google Cloud Agent Search or other enterprise search technologies.
- Experience integrating Gemini Enterprise with SharePoint and BigQuery; knowledge of Okta and enterprise identity management.
- Experience with React, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, LLM evaluation frameworks, guardrails, or AI observability.
- Google Cloud certifications or experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or wealth management.
