Senior AI Engineer based in Dubai, building and scaling AI features for the platform in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Build LLM features for conversation summaries, guest intent detection, task routing, and predictive guest insights.
- Develop backend services and APIs for a multi-property platform; integrate WhatsApp Business API and hotel systems.
- Build retrieval, evaluation, and monitoring pipelines for accurate, consistent, brand-appropriate AI outputs.
- Contribute to scalable, secure cloud architecture that protects guest data.
- Translate hotel workflows into technical solutions with product and operations stakeholders.
- Mentor fellow engineers and improve team technical standards.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years building and shipping AI or LLM products in production.
- Backend expertise in Python or Node.js/TypeScript; experience with API design and distributed systems.
- Hands-on LLM experience, including prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, and evaluation.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; containerisation; and CI/CD.
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and multi-tenant SaaS architecture; strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred experience
- Hospitality, travel, or guest-facing technology experience is a plus.
- Messaging platform experience, especially WhatsApp Business API, is a plus; familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hotel systems is a plus.
- Arabic or additional language skills are a plus.
