Advisors contribute to selected opportunities across Graphora funds, syndicated investment programmes, and its company ecosystem within an agreed scope.
Corporate development and strategic growth
- Help founders and company leaders assess growth priorities, market-entry opportunities, and strategic alternatives.
- Identify commercial partnerships, distribution arrangements, licensing opportunities, joint ventures, and potential acquisition relationships.
- Evaluate strategic fit, business models, competitive positioning, transaction rationale, and integration considerations.
- Prepare companies for discussions with corporate-development teams, strategic customers, and executive decision-makers.
Private-capital contribution
- Bring judgment to company, management-team, and market evaluation.
- Assess financing needs, business risks, milestones, and capabilities required for the next stage of growth.
- Contribute investment-committee-style analysis and constructive challenge to company and fund opportunities.
- Support portfolio-company development through operating expertise, executive relationships, and strategic planning.
Regional relationships
- Develop meaningful relationships in selected markets and other markets where the advisor has established experience.
- Introduce appropriate founders, corporate leaders, fund partners, family offices, institutional relationships, and experienced operators.
- Help companies understand local commercial practices, partner expectations, and routes to market.
- Collaborate with industry-specialist advisors to combine sector expertise with broader commercial and investment experience.
Who should apply
- Relevant backgrounds include General Partners, Managing Partners, Investment Partners, or Operating Partners at venture-capital, private-equity, or growth-investment firms.
- Other relevant candidates include corporate-development, M&A, corporate-strategy, strategic-partnership, or corporate-venture leaders.
- Family-office investment leaders should bring company-evaluation and portfolio-development experience.
- CEOs, founders, senior executives, and senior transaction or investment professionals should bring demonstrated company-building contributions.
- Examples of businesses grown, partnerships developed, transactions supported, and portfolio-company outcomes are particularly relevant.
- Expertise in several areas of Graphora’s opportunity ecosystem is valuable; expertise across every sector is not expected.
Commitment and workplace
- Engagements can begin at 2–4 hours per month and expand to 40 hours per month, depending on agreed responsibilities.
- Work is primarily remote; local meetings and travel are agreed separately.
Compensation
- Compensation varies by engagement and may include cash, equity, or carried-interest participation where separately agreed and appropriate.
- Scope, compensation, vesting, and other terms are established in writing before an engagement begins.
- Separate Operating Partner opportunities may involve a greater commitment and are discussed independently.
Opportunity scope
This is an advisory opportunity, not an appointment as a fund General Partner, investment decision-maker, employee, or fiduciary director.
Transaction-related or fundraising responsibilities require a separately agreed and authorized engagement.
