- As a client Senior Resilience Training Instructor, the individual is responsible for the management of the Resilience Instructor team.
- Attend management meetings.
- Produce Resilience Training Standard Operating Procedures and ensure those standards are upheld.
- Implement continuation training for Resilience Instructors.
- Management and procurement of Resilience Training assets.
- Assist with Course design.
- Conduct daily risk assessment meetings.
- Capable of fulfilling all the duties of the Resilience Instructors.
- Conduct validation and Quality Control of Resilience Training delivery.
- Work a 40-hour week with overnight camps and weekends.
- Facilitate the uplift and training of local Resilience Instructors to develop Emirati Resilience Training capability.
- Be conversant with all emergency procedures.
- Carry out administrative tasks relevant to Resilience Training.
- Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the ZMU chain of command.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and guidance to the ZMU Training Development Team.
• UK Mountain Training Mountain Leader Summer*
- UKCC Level 2 Coach / Coach Award (Level 3)*
- MBCUK – Level 2 – Technical Trail Leader*
• Wilderness First Aid Certificate*
- Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Fluent English
Desired
- UK MT Mountain Instructor Award or higher*
• Mountain First Aid Provider*
- Arabic Speaking
- *** or equivalent**
Essential
- Strong management & training pedigree
- 5+ years in a leadership and management position
Desired
- Experience of instructing in a Western officer training academy
- Military training experience
- Experience working with foreign nations, especially Middle Eastern cultures
