Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records including ledgers, journals, and financial reports.
• **Handle complete accounts up to finalization** — including trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet preparation.
• Prepare and review invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns, payroll reports, and assist in external audits.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with management and external auditors regarding financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and internal company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• **Minimum Requirement:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• **Preferred Bonus:** Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field is a significant plus.
• Minimum **3–5 years of UAE accounting experience**.
• **Strong knowledge in finalization of accounts is a must.**
• Proficient in Tally
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and audit requirements.
• **Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.**
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
