Job Overview
Senior Accountant role supporting general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, and audit activities.
The role supports domestic and international accounting operations in a manufacturing and consumer products environment.
Compensation
- Compensation is $85,000 to $100,000 per year plus benefits.
Schedule
- Schedule is Monday through Friday.
Location and Workplace
- Role is located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and is in-office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, deferrals, and supporting schedules for monthly and year-end close.
- Prepare recurring financial reports and analysis for domestic and international accounting activities.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy, reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure US GAAP compliance.
- Support intercompany reporting, reconciliations, master data maintenance, and related accounting activities.
- Support internal and external audits through documentation, research, and audit-request responses.
- Improve processes, support ERP initiatives, and complete special accounting projects with cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, including at least two years of financial audit experience, is required.
- Recent manufacturing or consumer products accounting experience and strong US GAAP knowledge are required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- ERP experience and exposure to implementations or migrations are preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, detail orientation, and collaboration skills are required.
