Role overview
Manages accounts receivable, branch expenses, collections, and reconciliations while supporting accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Provides timely and reliable financial data to support the Finance team.
Key accountabilities
- Maintain accurate operational accounting records and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Accounts Receivable Section Head.
- Post transactions promptly in ERP or financial systems; monitor customer accounts, issue invoices, follow up receivables, and reconcile balances.
- Support credit control and collections; manage cash collections and deposits with Treasury; prepare bank reconciliations.
- Safeguard cash and financial documents, allocate expenses to cost centers, and coordinate vendor payments with Accounts Payable.
- Ensure compliance with controls, accounting policies, and tax requirements; maintain audit records and support branch-level audits.
- Work with the Finance team, provide insights for branch decisions, supervise branch accountants or cashiers, and improve accounting operations.
- Support ERP updates and automation initiatives.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience; branch or regional accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, cash handling, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; Dynamic ERP experience is preferred.
Certification
- SOCPA certification is mandatory.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
