About The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to own the full accounting function of our Dubai entity.
You will be the go-to person for everything from daily bookkeeping to tax filings and audit — this is a role for someone who can run accounting end-to-end independently, not supervise a large team.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, general ledger, bank and payment-gateway reconciliations, inventory accounting
- Month-end and year-end close, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany entries
- Monthly management reporting: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
- UAE VAT: preparation and filing of returns, FTA compliance
- UAE Corporate Tax: registration compliance, provisioning, and return preparation
- Payroll processing and WPS compliance
- Preparation of audit files and primary liaison with external auditors
- Multi-currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations with group entities
- Improving accounting processes, controls, and documentation
