Role overview
Oversees financial operations and supports the organization's financial health and strategic decisions.
Owns the general ledger and leads financial closing processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closes.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and budget-versus-actual variance reports.
- Review and approve bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage and file corporate tax and VAT returns and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and prepare schedules, files, and documentation.
- Support finance managers with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; mentor junior accounting staff.
Requirements
- Active, fully qualified CPA or ACCA designation is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 to 8+ years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, and hands-on experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and understanding of local statutory laws.
