About Pacific Horizon Consulting LLC
Pacific Horizon Consulting LLC is a growing professional consultancy firm specializing in Accounting, Bookkeeping, VAT, Corporate Tax, Company Formation, Compliance, and Business Advisory Services across the UAE.
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced **Senior Accountant** to join our Dubai office.
This role is suitable only for candidates with strong UAE accounting and taxation experience who can independently manage multiple client portfolios.
Important Notice
Applications will only be considered from candidates with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Candidates from Accounting Firms, Audit Firms, Tax Consultancy Firms, and Business Setup Consultancies will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping and accounting records for multiple clients.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review VAT returns in compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
- Prepare Corporate Tax computations and support Corporate Tax filings.
- Assist clients with FTA registrations, amendments, deregistrations, and compliance matters.
- Review financial transactions and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis.
- Coordinate directly with clients regarding accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax matters.
- Support external audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum **5 years of accounting experience within the UAE**.
- Previous experience in an Accounting Firm, Audit Firm, Tax Consultancy, or Business Consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of:
• UAE Corporate Tax
- Financial Reporting
- Bookkeeping
- FTA and EmaraTax Portal
- Ability to independently manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, or ERP systems.
- Experience handling VAT registrations, VAT filings, Corporate Tax registrations, Corporate Tax filings, and accounting compliance matters.
