Overview

• Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP to ensure transparency and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time to maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis, identifying trends and discrepancies, and presenting actionable recommendations to management for improved financial performance.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely invoicing and follow-up for collections, to optimize cash flow and minimize outstanding debts.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and insights to facilitate a smooth review.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance financial accuracy and integrity.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring adherence to best practices in financial reporting.
