Markef Consulting LLC is a fast-growing management consulting and accounting firm based in Dubai, providing accounting, bookkeeping, tax, audit support, CFO advisory, and business consulting services to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and client-focused **Senior Accountant** to manage the accounting and bookkeeping functions for multiple client engagements while ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of client companies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reviews.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Assist clients with VAT compliance, Corporate Tax requirements, and regulatory filings.
- Review accounting transactions and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors and support annual audit engagements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to clients and management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants and bookkeeping staff.
- Ensure timely completion of client deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Liaise directly with clients and provide professional accounting support and guidance.
Requirementsessential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA/part qualified, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including UAE experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT, and Corporate Tax.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience working in an accounting firm, consulting firm, or outsourced accounting environment.
- Knowledge of IFRS and UAE compliance requirements.
- Experience supervising accounting teams.
