Senior Accountant - Construction Industry

Role overview

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• At least 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience in a UAE construction company.
• Experience in project accounting, job costing, budgeting, and cost control.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable accounting regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software or ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to independently handle accounting operations and meet reporting deadlines.

Accounting and finance scope

• Manage cash flow, internal audit, and finalization of books of accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports and arrange bank facilities, including overdrafts and credit limits.
• Handle letters of credit, guarantees, bill discounting, subcontract agreements, and shipping matters.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 7,000–10,000 per month.
• Salary and perks are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
