Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements.
• Prepare and review:
• Balance Sheet

• Cash Flow Statement

• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance and provide management reports and recommendations.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage General Ledger and accounting controls.
• Monitor receivables, payables, inventory, and cash flow.
• Coordinate with auditors and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage accounting operations within Zoho Books and related systems.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 8-12 years of accounting experience.
• Strong experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial controls.
• Experience handling external audits and audit requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Strong experience in trading, import/export, or distribution companies.
• Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills.

Zoho Requirements

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
• Ability to configure Chart of Accounts, financial reports, workflows, and approvals.
• Experience in financial reporting and dashboard creation within Zoho.
• Experience in system implementation and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in international trade finance, LC, CAD, and TT transactions.
• Experience managing accounting teams.
