The Senior Accountant will oversee financial operations, reporting, and internal controls for the trading business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable; supervise inventory accounting and cost control.
- Perform bank reconciliations and financial analysis; prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and senior management; monitor cash flow and financial planning.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience as an accountant; Senior Accountant experience is preferred.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Trading, wholesale, or hotel supplies experience is an advantage; Qatar work experience is preferred.
