Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Arabic-speaking Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, manage accounting entries and financial records, handle accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely financial reporting and VAT compliance, and support administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions and maintain proper accounting documentation.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist management with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and reports to support management decisions.
- Monitor customer payments, outstanding balances, and collection activities.
- Maintain records related to vehicle sales transactions and support sales-related accounting activities.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including document management, contract filing, correspondence, and coordination with government and external entities when required.
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with management and other departments to ensure smooth financial and administrative operations.
- Monitor and Manage B2B-related expenses across sales, service, and operations functions
- Manage general trading activities, including sourcing, pricing.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (Mandatory).
- **Arabic Fluency (Non-Negotiable)**
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, VAT, and audit procedures.
- Experience in the automotive, car sales, or rent-a-car industry is an advantage.
