Accounting Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor and control fixed assets, accruals, and provisions.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including IFRS or GAAP as applicable.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT filings, and statutory reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls.
Financial Analysis and Planning
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and risks.
- Support budget preparation and forecasting.
- Provide management with financial insights and recommendations.
- Assist with cash flow management and cost control initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the applied position.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Immediate availability is a plus.
- Arabic speaker, as specified in the job title.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Qatar.
Compensation and Employment
- Full-time position.
- Pay is QAR 9,000–10,000 per month.
