Senior Accountant

Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our industrial manufacturing unit in Abu Dhabi.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing accounting, financial reporting, and cost control, with the ability to support management in strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• The candidate must be able to
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and closing processes
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production cost analysis
• Monitor and control manufacturing expenses and variances
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, IFRS, and internal policies
• VAT filing
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management
• Improve financial processes and internal controls
• Qualifications required are as below and not limited to it,
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Soho Books, Tally, SAP, Oracle etc)
• Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage
