Senior Accountant

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for invoices, expenses, payments and transactions.
• Manage core ledgers, sales invoices and transaction processing.
• Post bills and expenses; report on AP and AR and follow up payments and collections.
• Prepare accruals and prepayments; complete VAT and other statutory reports.
• Record, value, depreciate and report capital assets.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations and cash reporting.
• Support auditors, assist with management accounts and deputise for the Financial Manager.
• Support colleagues, third parties and other departments with operational finance matters.

Required skills

• Oracle NetSuite experience is mandatory.
• Expert Excel skills.
• At least four years of accounting experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, communication, self-motivation and time management.
• High integrity and ability to act confidentially.
• Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth company.

Nice to have

• Planful, Concord or AP/AR management tool experience.
• Audit experience.
• Software implementation project experience.
• Familiarity with foreign exchange spot trades and forwards.
• Completed or in-progress professional accounting qualification.
