Senior Accountant - 5 years of relevant Manufacturing Industry in the UAE

About This Role

• Take ownership of end-to-end financial operations, ensuring all accounting activities—from ledger management to payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations—are executed with precision and in line with UAE regulatory requirements
• Develop and deliver periodic financial reports, translating complex financial data into clear insights for leadership while maintaining compliance with IFRS standards
• Direct all aspects of cost accounting within the manufacturing environment, including product costing structures, material consumption tracking, and in-depth variance evaluations across labor, materials, and overheads
• Ensure robust control over inventory finances by maintaining accurate valuation across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, supported by regular stock audits and reconciliations
• Evaluate production expenses and overhead distribution to identify inefficiencies, enhance cost control, and strengthen overall product margin performance
• Spearhead financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow oversight, with a focus on optimizing liquidity and working capital
• Maintain strict adherence to UAE tax frameworks, including VAT and corporate tax, ensuring accurate filings, documentation, and regulatory compliance at all times
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and advisors, facilitating smooth audit processes and ensuring timely closure of all statutory requirements
• Design and continuously enhance internal controls, financial policies, and reporting frameworks to minimize risk and improve operational effectiveness
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—particularly production, procurement, and operations—to drive cost efficiencies and support informed business decisions
• Guide, supervise, and develop the finance team, fostering accountability, technical growth, and high-performance standards
