Job scope
Manage a portfolio of accounts and promote the company’s products and services through account strategies and customer partnerships.
Work to optimize sales and support marketing programs in coordination with the Territory Sales Manager.
Main duties
- Set account strategies and portfolio roadmaps with management; deliver sales forecasts and targets.
- Lead vendor relationships and develop new and existing channel and client relationships to grow sales.
- Maintain channel and customer databases, analyze data, and measure loyalty and new opportunities.
- Research product-market requirements through visits to customers and prospects.
- Manage the sales cycle from quotation to collection; assess credit and payment performance and resolve outstanding settlements.
- Control inventory storage and tracking, generate long-term portfolio revenue, and support channel partners and customers.
- Oversee targeted programs and marketing activities; evaluate processes and implement efficiency and standardization improvements.
- Use Salesforce CRM for lead, opportunity, and deal registration management.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
- At least 6 years of hands-on software-sales experience and a strong record of achieving sales targets.
- Proven sales experience with Abu Dhabi government entities and knowledge of government departments, procurement, budgets, and decision-making structures.
- IBM experience is advantageous.
- Own the sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closure; shape and execute territory go-to-market strategy.
- Understand enterprise software solutions and build long-term stakeholder relationships.
