As a

Senior AC & Refrigeration Technician

, you’re not just performing daily guest room maintenance– you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

  • Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot AC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, split units, package units, and cold storage equipment.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, including compressors, fans, motors, and filters.
  • Ensure proper refrigerant charging and leak detection procedures are followed.
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Assist in the installation of new AC and refrigeration systems.
  • Recommend system upgrades and improvements for better energy efficiency.
  • Ensure all installations comply with hotel and industry safety regulations.
  • Monitor system performance to optimize energy efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Follow all hotel safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly according to environmental guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff requests regarding temperature or equipment concerns.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Food & Beverage, to ensure refrigeration and AC systems support operational needs.
  • Provide technical support and training to other maintenance team members as needed.
