As a
Senior AC & Refrigeration Technician
, you’re not just performing daily guest room maintenance– you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot AC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, split units, package units, and cold storage equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including compressors, fans, motors, and filters.
- Ensure proper refrigerant charging and leak detection procedures are followed.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the installation of new AC and refrigeration systems.
- Recommend system upgrades and improvements for better energy efficiency.
- Ensure all installations comply with hotel and industry safety regulations.
- Monitor system performance to optimize energy efficiency and reduce costs.
- Follow all hotel safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly according to environmental guidelines.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff requests regarding temperature or equipment concerns.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Food & Beverage, to ensure refrigeration and AC systems support operational needs.
- Provide technical support and training to other maintenance team members as needed.
