Schedule:

  • Full-time 60-80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Day shift | 7:30a-6:00p
  • Thurs & Fri and e/o Sat, Sun (flex shifts)
  • Pay and Benefits:
  • Minimum hourly rate of $25.51 per hour; exact rate of pay determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $24.21-$37.08 per hour
  • Weekend Shift Differential of $1.05/hr
  • $2,000 hiring bonus

Qualifications:

  • Experience in security, policing, training in law enforcement or private security preferred.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, and deal effectively with individuals/groups in a health care setting.
  • Minimum training and certification up to the level of EMR preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license and a driving record in good standing required.
  • Must become certified in the use of the ASP expandable baton, handcuffing, VISTELAR and CEW (conducted energy weapon/Taser), as well as experience the effects a Taser within 6 months of hire.
  • A full set of fingerprints in accordance with Minnesota Statute 326.336 is required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.
  • Hiring Bonus: To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
