Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a strong and professional security presence in a busy retail environment
- Provide high-level customer service to retailers, staff, and members of the public
- Conduct foot patrols, access control, and site monitoring
- Operate and monitor Control Room systems including CCTV and alarm systems
- Respond effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
- Identify, assess, and manage risk appropriately
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs
- Liaise with centre management, tenants, and emergency services when required
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in retail security environments
- Strong Control Room experience (highly regarded)
- Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control & Monitoring components
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a relief capacity
