As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively.

About the Site This assignment is at a rehabilitation center. Officers are the steady, professional presence that helps residents and staff feel safe every day.

What You’ll Do

Search residents as they enter the facility, following site procedures and treating everyone with respect

Keep the site safe and secure throughout your shift

Complete hourly tours of the property

Fill out hourly activity logs accurately and on time

Good Fit For Someone who is calm, observant, and comfortable working around people who are going through a tough time.

$22.34 Per Hour PLUS a generous PTO Plan.

Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.

Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.

Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.

Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.

Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).

Current with BSIS Compliance

i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate

32-hour continuing education certificates

Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
